Finding Good Carbs--Kudos To Mother Nature
Our diets say a lot about who we are, and, with new crazes in dieting appearing daily, there are often too many options to ponder when we make dietary decisions. Take, for example, the newest craze in carbs . It's all about losing weight, right? That being said, exactly "what are good carbs ."
It is hard to find someone who isn't on one version or another of a low carb program. The key to finding good carbohydrates that satisfy your needs is all a part of your own tastes. It is possible to incorporate good carbs into every meal of the day and still follow a dietary program that is satisfying and never boring.
Thanks to Mother Nature, there are many options to be had at your local grocer. A good rule of thumb includes making sure that you incorporate a large percentage of unprocessed foods into your daily needs. This simply means looking for choices that don't contain a lot of fillers or sugars. To further simplify your search, look for choices that have no processing whatsoever.
These types of good carbs can be found in the produce section of the supermarket. They include green leafy vegetables such as brussel sprouts, any type of lettuce, tomatoes, beans and cucumbers. They are the ultimate examples regarding "no processing" in that they have come directly from the source, Mother Nature.
Remember, don't deprive yourself of the foods you really love. That will only lead to missteps in your dieting plans. Make the right choices and allow yourself to splurge once and a while to make life a little less ordinary.
